#AtoZChallenge - Organization and Proverbs 31

Organized - to be or to cause to become neat and orderly.

21.  She is not afraid of the snow for her household:  for all her household are clothed with scarlet.

Wow...this is really close to yesterday's topic, isn't it?   But it's kind of like when you are at supper and someone asks you for the salt, you should hand them both the salt and the pepper.  Some things just naturally go better together.

To be adequately prepared for winter, or when it snows, one must be prepared.  And it is a whole lot easier being prepared if one is organized.  Say you live in Tornado Alley.  Having a family emergency plan of what to do in case of a twister is practically a necessity.  All but the youngest family members (infants and toddlers) can have an assigned job.  It helps them to learn responsibility and fosters a sense of pride.  So if, God forbid, a twister does approach your house, the plan gets put into action and lessens some of the fear naturally associated with such natural disasters.

24.  She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.

Someone who is sloppy and unorganized in business does not stay in business long.  If you don't deliver a product or service when you have promised, customers and potential customers will lose confidence in your abilities to supply their needs and look elsewhere.

If you are particularly skilled at organization, you could make a business out of that talent.  There are innumerable people and businesses that could benefit from someone helping them to organize.  Practices and procedures can become more streamlined and everyone can breathe easier.

Getting out of the hole of disorganization is not easy by any means, but the result?  Priceless.

How has being organized (or disorganized) affected your life, your business, your writing?

  1. I had to become organized once I got online. I was always punctual and never forgot a date, but there are so many things to juggle now: visiting blogger buddies, featuring others, IWSG site and group, Challenge co-host, my own books... I don't want to let anyone down.

    1. Alex, you are just flat out an AMAZING person! You do have a lot on your plate, and you must juggle it well, because I have only ever heard people have positive things to say about you! I salute the Ninja Captain! :O)

  2. I did organization too! I'm pretty organized, but I think it would make me crazy to try to organize other folks' lives on top of my own. Yikes.

    1. Yay! AJ's here! :O) It's funny, but I'm actually better at organizing for other people than I am for myself! Is that bass-ackwards or WHAT? *lol*

  3. Added myself to your blog followers.

I wish I were more consistently organized. With some things I am very organized and others I'm not. Those latter things sometimes threaten to overcome me.

    1. I am honored Arlee! Welcome to the back porch! WOOHOO! :O)

You've set yourself and all A-to-Z-dom a great example. As the challenge has grown steadily each year, the administration has needed more and more effort. Organizing the co-hosts and minions is a tremendous undertaking. And while you may or may not have a hand in all that personally, you have created an outlet for (literally) thousands of bloggers and writers. That attracts the people with organization talent to help out. (Sounds kind of like, "If you build it, they will come," doesn't it?) :O)
