Boondocks - #atozchallenge

One of my most favorite songs is Boondocks by the band Little Big Town:

And here's my 'twisted' A to Z version:

BLOG  POSTS

I feel no pain
I'm up all night again
Trying to write my posts for the A to Z.
One thing I know
To the store I will go
Cause blogging takes a lot of hot coffee.

I sit here wond'ring if it will be 'good enough'
And then I realize, hey, maybe it's not that tough.
And the blogosphere is callin' to me.

[Chorus]

I got my snacks and drinks
And they are all right here.
I'm gonna knock posts out
'Cause it's oh, so clear.
That the blogosphere is callin' to me.

[Chorus]

It's where I learned about writing
It's where I learned about chats
It's where I learned about SEO
Tryin' to get some friends and follow back,
It's where I learned about teamwork
And having Sundays off.
You may not know me quite yet, but
This is me
And this is my blog.
Give me a desk, a laptop and an ergo chair
And that's fine with me, feels so fine to me.

[Chorus]

You and an A, I'll get a B
We'll keep writing till we hit that "Z"
Lots of great blog posts for you and me
At the end we'll have a big party!

~~~oOo~~~
Many thanks to Jeremy at Hollywood Nuts! for the letter graphics.
  4. I'm not too familiar with this tune.
    The word boondocks reminds me of the word timbuktu! LOL
    1. Thanks so much Jemima! "Little Big Town" is kind of a folk/popular/country style band. There music is very 'down home'.
  7. I don't know the song, but I can relate, born and lived most of my early days in the boondocks. Like your take on the lyrics, too.
