My 2019 "You Read How Many Books?" RC Sign-up

The 2019 "You Read How Many Books?" Reading Challenge is hosted by Gina at her blog Book Dragon's Lair.  Please click on the banner above to go to the sign-up page for full details and to JOIN IN!  There are multiple levels at which you can sign up, from "Board Book " (12 books/1 per month), to "Adult" (208+ books/4 per week).

Part of me wants to go for the "Board Book" level, because it will be like falling off a log...dead easy.  But where's the challenge in that?  So I'm going for the "Middle Grade" level of 78 books.  It will be a stretch but not out of the realm of reality. :)

My 2018 Strictly Print Reading Challenge

The Strictly Print Reading Challenge is hosted at the Book Dragon's Lair blog.  The hostess has a lot on her plate this year, so there wasn't a button available, so...I made my own with Canva.  If you click on that button, you will go to the sign-up page and can get full details of the challenge there.

Here are the levels:

• Board Books: 12  (New level)
• Picture Books: 26  (New level)
• Chapter Books: 52
• Middle Grade: 78
• Teen: 104 
• Young Adult: 156
• Adult: 208 or more 

I usually pick up at least twelve  print books (or 'book books' as we call them in our house), during the year, so I'll be going for the "Board Books" level of 12 print books.  Always room to move up in case I inherit a library or something like that! :p

I Love Library Books Reading Challenge 2015

The I Love Library Books Reading Challenge is hosted by Gina at Book Dragon's Lair.  The button up there leads directly to the sign-up page.  Here is the info from her site:

Our love of reading can be expensive! Not only are we purchasing books but some of us also need space to keep them. I had so much fun with this challenge last year. Let's do it again!
There are a number of levels, for those who don't have a library card yet to those that live there. Enjoy!
 Requirements:

• choose a level - you may move up as needed, just not down.

• read books you checked out of the library

• books may overlap with other challenges

• any format allowed (print, ebook, audio)

• reviews are not necessary but a list of books read is. (post with review linky is coming in January)

• a blog is not necessary, just comment that you want to join in or link up another way

Since I'm trying out a new record-keeping system next year, I'm starting at the "board book" level.  I tend to sign up for a lot of reading challenges and my records in 2014 were...um...not very skilled.  We live in a rural part of the state and there is like one library per county.  There used to be a bookmobile - I wonder if they still run.  That would make things a LOT easier! ;)
