Last year was my first A to Z Challenge, and my theme was plays in which I had been involved. Of course, some of the letters are harder to do than others (X and Q, anyone?) and some of the letters I had to use plays that I liked, but had not 'done'.
Since last year, I have done quite a bit of study on the "Proverbs 31 Woman". For those who may not know, this refers to the verses in Proverbs 31 in the Bible, in which King Lemuel's mother gives him advice. Verses 10-31 cover things her son, the king, should look for in a woman.
So, this year, my A to Z Challenge theme will be ...
A(ltruistic) to Z(ealous) Qualities of the Proverbs 31 Woman!
So come back on April 1 to check it out! Join the challenge by clicking the button below - there is still plenty of time to join in the fun!

ReplyDeleteYou and me both, Ananya! (I was the same way in late December, waiting for the New Year so I could start my reading challenges!)
DeleteLuAnn, I can't wait to see what you share about the Proverbs 31 woman. (I have to be honest, I always feel intimidated when I read Proverbs 31.)

A fellow wHooligan
I swear I responded to this comment yesterday. Don't have a clue what happened to it. Oh well.
DeleteP31 intimidates everyone, TaMara, me included; even the folks who make a living writing about her or how to become her.
Thanks for the Hooligan love! :O)
Love the concept of your theme, LuAnn! So much to look forward to in April - and please leave the porch light on for me! :D

I hear you, Vidya. I'm thinking, "What? We have to wait EIGHT WHOLE DAYS?!?!?! I want to start the party NOW!" :O) And, consider the light on, my friend!
DeleteLuAnn,
ReplyDeleteThat's a wonderful theme for the Challenge.
Thanks so much, J.J. What blog are you doing the challenge on?
DeleteI look forward to stopping by to see what you share each day from such a hard to live up to woman.
ReplyDeleteI know, Sabrina, right? It reminds me of meeting my MIL's husband the first time. I told her I was scared (he's SO accomplished). She said that would probably make him feel awkward, because to himself, he was just a regular guy. I'm hazarding a guess that P31 is the same.
DeleteI'd be curious of your take on the Proverbs 31 woman.
ReplyDeleteMy hope, Damaria, is that people will be blessed and that we can all share and learn.
DeleteWhat a great topic- can't wait to see your posts!
ReplyDeleteThank so much, Melanie. I hope people are not disappointed. I'm no scriptorian ... just a woman trying to get a little closer to P31 than I am. :O)
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great challenge. I look forward to reading your posts.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Yvonne. I hope people find the posts to be helpful and encouraging. :O)
