MY REVIEW

It's interesting that in the 6th of 6 "Montana Hamiltons Series" books, Honor Bound, by B. J. Daniels, that Papa Hamilton is a presidential candidate...seeing that this is a year in which we elect a new president here in the US.  You know the man has to be in good health, because up to this point, five of his six daughters have been in serious danger (heart-attack territory for a father), and he's still go the energy to campaign!

He probably breathed a sigh of relief that Ainsley, his eldest and most responsible daughter, would keep things quiet while he ran for the highest office in the land.  The last thing a presidential candidate wants in scandal associated with his or her name.  Well, Bucky, you'll want to bring the big thermos today because you are going to need all the coffee you can get!

You see, Ainsley scouts locations for commercials and the like.  A nice, safe job ... one would think.  Of course, being daughter of a presidential candidate has its perks...and its perils.  Luckily there's a Montana cowboy there to protect and rescue Ainsley.

I was more than pleasantly surprised to read Honor Bound.  With a handsome man on the cover, I was sure this was going to be some sappy romance, where nobody gets in serious danger and they all live HEA (happily ever after).  Rarely if ever have I been this happy to be this wrong!

Sure, there is romance.  But I've never read such a suspenseful romance (or is that a romantic suspense?) as Honor Bound by author B. J. Daniels.  It's a heart-pounding ride across the plains, white hats chasing black hats and vice versa.

Now I have the pleasure of putting the rest of the "Hamiltons" on my TBR.
