First of all, HAPPY BIRTHDAY EINEY! In honor of Einstein's Birthday, I am participating in the National Wormhole Day blog hop hosted by Stephen Tremp, Laura Eno, and Luanne Smith (not to be confused with "LuAnn Smith", who I used to be before I got married!)
Also, shouting out for the Thirsty for Comments Thursdays hop (hosted by the Acting Balanced blog and DL Hammons' Blog Blitz group hosted at his Cruising Altitude blog. Check them out too, you won't regret it.

If I had a two-way ticket for a stable wormhole, and could make a single out-and-back trip to anywhere at any point in history ... I'd probably go back and meet Einstein. He could figure out the formula for stabilizing wormholes at will and I could make him a webpage to distribute the process to the masses at no charge. We would also have to make some sort of "failsafe" code to ensure the technology was not misused by haters and/or trolls.
Alternatively, I'd like to go back and see either the Sermon on the Mount or hang out with the shepherds on the night of Jesus' birth in Bethlehem.

Little Known Mostly Useless Factoid: This marks my 46th post of the year. In the rest of my blogstory I've made a total of 136 posts. That means I am 1/3 of the way to making this the year that I have as many posts as I made in the last SIX YEARS!
Love your little known factoids. :)
ReplyDeleteMeeting Einstein would be cool, but I truly don't think he'd give you the info regarding stabilizing wormholes... too much risk, and one thing he was was a wise man.
I never would have considered seeing the shepherds. Interesting.
True, Nancy, I had not taken into account that Einstein would not have thought this a good idea.
ReplyDeleteHrm...I'm going to have to chew this one over again.
The Sermon on the Mount! Someone else said they'd go back and witness that. Very cool.
ReplyDeleteA number of people would like to see the Sermon on the Mount. So would I. How cool would that be! Thanks for participating.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what kinds of advances Einstein could have made if he lived now, with the aid of the computers and technology we have today. He might have been unstoppable and we'd have our wormhole travel. :))
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment, Alex. It's the whole atmosphere of love and hope that draws me to the Sermon on the Mount. Have you seen the "2nd generation" blog fests sprouting up around the A to Z Challenge? I am psyched!
ReplyDeleteGreat to "see you" on my blog, Stephen. I knew from the moment I saw notice of this fest that I would have to participate.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great idea! Crash the birthday party. Can I come with you?
ReplyDeleteEvalina, This and that...
Sermon on the mount and Einstein. Both awesome choices!

First off, I LOVE the title of your blog. I was inclined to sign on as a groupie before reading a single one of your posts...
ReplyDeleteI'd love to meet Einstein, too, and try to assimilate some of his knowledge. Might take a glass of wine or two before he'd be willing to blab about the stabilization of wormholes, though...
Nice to meetcha. Count me in as your newest follower.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to witness the beginning of time.
Your wormholes sound fun!
ReplyDeleteOoh. Meeting Einstein would be awesome. I'd probably be taking notes all day, as I'm sure he'd always have something brilliant to say!

And would you bring Einstein a birthday cake too? Isn't it really cool that you could offer to do something for him that he couldn't for himself?
ReplyDeleteThank you for the mention!! :)
ReplyDeleteI don't know if I'd want to meet Einstein because I probably wouldn't be able to hold a conversation with him.
