But it's hard to find even here. And don't even get me started on the total absence of Amish butchers around here -- I wish we could import one. We do have a nice Mennonite dairy though - they've expanded into the ice cream business. Yay for that.
~Visiting from AtoZWendyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17863357756727783017noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1715948426984829836.post-1598307800310460772015-04-01T23:34:00.466-04:002015-04-01T23:34:00.466-04:00I don't have much experience with the Amish, b...I don't have much experience with the Amish, but recently went into a store here that only features Amish made furniture, wonderful quality to it! It's always fascinating to learn the uniqueness of each place and state. :)Tyrean Martinsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15356604721537744361noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1715948426984829836.post-69029213931828122702015-04-01T17:26:51.330-04:002015-04-01T17:26:51.330-04:00You're right, I would not have thought of '...You're right, I would not have thought of 'Amish' in Kentucky, but I'm glad that you did. As a quilter, I have studied the Amish Quilters unique designs and their color theories with great interest...not to mention their use of treadle sewing machines and their expertly hand stitched quilts. Loved your butcher story...fists up...good job, girl.

Really? No Whataburger in Kentucky? The new special 'Monterey Melt' is awesome. I'd send you one, but ...well...it would probably not make the trip from Texas with the Melt part still melted.
Sue at CollectInTexas Gal
AtoZ 2015 Challenge
Minion for AJ's wHooligansSue McPeakhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04927975578544675345noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1715948426984829836.post-90163248094134966892015-04-01T16:31:39.976-04:002015-04-01T16:31:39.976-04:00Hi there, LuAnn - I really liked your post ('A...Hi there, LuAnn - I really liked your post ('A' for Amish). I respect them very much. They're hard workers; it sounds like you and your family are also hard-workers. BTW, I gave a shout-out to your blog on FictionZeal.com for today's A-Z post.
